My new nickname....

Granny G. (given by brad because i've been doing what you see below)

Thanks to aunt Jen, while I was on Christmas break in Idaho she taught me how to make these awesome little hats!!! I'm going to be selling them with Cool Chicks Wear at this upcoming Affair of the Heart in Oklahoma City in a couple weeks. I found some sweet orange fuzzy yarn that I thought was really fun. I hope people like them :)

The past week I've been working on this quilt for Coaches vs Cancer. Everyone on the committee brought in their old OSU t-shirts and we made it into an awesome quilt! It is currently getting machine quilted by a lady. We are going to be displaying it in Gallagher at the games and it will be open up to "chances". So come buy some... I'm pretty sure they are going to be one for $5, 3 for $10, and 5 for $20. I hope it raises a lot of money because it all goes directly to cancer research in Oklahoma. Spread the word that in a couple weeks pay attention at the games!
Danna, don't look!!! :) I'm sending it out tomorrow!
I was so proud of my first crochet blanket I had to post a picture of it. (I don't think it turned out too bad since i just learned to crochet over christmas) I am sending it off to Danna, my friend who just had her first baby girl!!! She is a doll. I couldn't resist making some cute little hats with the leftover yarn either.

looks like you've got it down. I told you once you figured it out you can do it in your sleep.

I love that you are a Granny G!!! I'm totally jealous of all your fun talents. I've TRIED to learn to crochet but it just wasn't happening!!!

Whitney, you are awesome. I wish I had some talent or maybe it is desire to take on such projects.

Whitney! Oh my heck! I'm sorry but I just couldn't help looking. It was screaming at me! And WOW!! The blanket is gorgeous! I am soooo excited I can hardly wait for it to get here! And the beanies are absolutely adorable :) My mom says she wants the pattern instructions for the blanket. Her and I are very into crocheting. If you want another fun pattern for a beanie I have a great one. The beanie Adalee is wearing in the pictures, my mom made and I have made a couple also. They are fairly simple. Anyway, thank you so much for thinking of me and my little girl. You are so sweet and I can't wait to get them!

whitney, I am aubrey's mother, and I wanted to ask you about your t-shirt quilt. I'm making a quilt for my parents and I was wondering how big are the squares of tshirts?
I'll check on your blog, for the answer. thanks.
